Saudi Aramco and Pertamina to Jointly Own, Upgrade and Operate Cilacap Refinery

Saudi Aramco and PT Pertamina, Indonesia's state oil and gas company, signed a Joint Venture Development Agreement to enable further progress to jointly own, upgrade and operate the Cilacap Refinery in central Java, Indonesia. Tokyo, Japan-based TonenGeneral Sekiyu K.K. announced that it has established a lubricants business company through its subsidiary EMG Marketing Godo Kaisha, also based in Tokyo and will market ExxonMobil's Mobil-branded oils in April, when it merges with JX Holdings.

Ji Dong-sup Named CEO of SK Lubricants

South Korea's SK Group has announced that Cho Dae-sik, the CEO of SK Holdings Co., was appointed chairman of SK Group's highest decision-making body, the SUPEX Council. Ji Dong-sup, a director of the SUPEX Council, was named as CEO of SK Lubricants. SK Energy President Kim Joon was also named president of SK Innovation.


Ford Issues Recall Due to Oil and Fuel Leaks

Ford Motor Co. is recalling vehicles because they could leak engine oil and potentially start fires. Ford dealerships will inspect and replace leaking turbocharger oil supply tubes at no cost to the customers. The models include 2016 Ford Tauruses, Explorers and Police Interceptor Utilities, all having 3.5-liter GTDI engines.
