Following price increases the previous week by ExxonMobil and several independents, last week Chevron, Phillips 66, CITGO, D-A Lubricants, Petro-Canada, Allegheny Petroleum, Warren Distribution, Old World Industries, Nu-Tier Brands and Pinnacle Oil all announced finished lube price increases.

Shell, BP Report Increased 3Q Earnings

Last week BP reported that third quarter 2017 profit was $1.8 billion compared to a profit of $1.6 billion for the same period in 2016, while Shell reported a 47 percent rise in third-quarter net income, based on current cost of supplies (CCS) of $4.1 billion compared with $2.8 billion a year earlier.
