ExxonMobil announced last Wednesday the expansion of its global slate of EHC base stocks with the introduction of EHC 120, a heavy neutral Group II base stock. EHC 120 will soon be available in Rotterdam, Netherlands and in Baytown, Texas.

Neste has signed a new distribution agreement with Brenntag (Shanghai) Enterprise Management Company Limited to distribute its NEXBASE(TM) Group III base oils in Greater China Brenntag will start distributing Neste's base oils in Greater China on April 1, 2018.

Abu Dhabi’s National Oil Company (ADNOC) has signed an exclusive agreement with Switzerland-based Chemlube SA, appointing the company as the exclusive seller of its Group III base oil in Europe. The deal follows a similar agreement signed with Penthol CV in May last year as the exclusive seller of ADNOC Group III base oil in the US.

Pack Logix last Monday announced that it has acquired the assets of the Spectrum Lubricants (Division of Philips 66) packaging facility located in Waukesha, WI. The acquisition was finalized February 16, 2018 and all employees at the location will migrate to Pack Logix.

Phillips 66 Lubricants announced it is upgrading its full line of passenger car motor oil (PCMO) to tackle the low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) issue, including those with gasoline direct injection (GDI) and turbochargers. The upgraded Kendall GT-1® Motor Oil and Phillips 66 Shield® Motor Oil formulas will begin rolling out in March.
